Pass the ordinance amending Chapter 111 of the City Code regulating on-sale and off-sale of alcohol at brewpubs, brewer taprooms, and microdistilleries.
SUMMARY:
Attached for your consideration and second reading is an ordinance amending Chapter 111 of the City Code entitled “Alcoholic Beverages”, regulating on-sale and off-sale of alcohol at brewpubs, brewer taprooms, and microdistilleries. The proposed ordinance was prepared by the City Attorney’s office. The ordinance amendment authorizes and regulates the licensing of brewpubs, brewer taprooms, and microdistilleries within the City.
Also attached for your information are responses from the City Attorney and Police Department to questions the City Council asked at the first reading.
BACKGROUND:
The first reading of the ordinance amendment was held October 8, 2015. No comments from the public have been received since the first reading.
