Approve Second Amendment to Antenna Lease Agreement with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, at Valleywood Reservoir.
SUMMARY:
The attached lease amendment is for AT&T’s LTE2C antenna upgrade. The upgrade is for the addition of three antennas and related equipment for a total of twelve AT&T antennas on the reservoir. The original lease agreement allows for up to nine antennas. Because of the additional antennas, the rent will be increased by $7,813.80 annually.
BACKGROUND:
In 2008, an antenna lease agreement was approved with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, for the installation of ground equipment and antennas on the Valleywood Reservoir located at 4863 McAndrews Road. New Cingular Wireless is doing business as AT&T.
The amendment was approved by the City Attorney. The construction plans have been reviewed and approved by KLM Engineering.
